Tax Preparation

Keep Every Dollar
You're Actually Owed.

Personal returns, family credits, gig-driver 1099s, and small business filings — prepared by people who will still pick up the phone in July.

Who We File For

Built Around Your Situation

Different filers have different problems. We handle all four under one roof.

🚗

Gig & 1099 Workers

Rideshare and delivery drivers, contractors, and anyone with a 1099-NEC or 1099-K. Mileage, phone, supplies, and quarterly estimates handled properly.

🏢

Small Business

Schedule C sole proprietors, single-member LLCs, partnerships, and S corporations. Entity questions answered before they cost you money.

For Drivers

Driving Is a Business.
File Like It.

If you drive for Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Instacart, or Amazon Flex, nobody withheld anything for you all year. That is the whole problem — and it is also the opportunity, because a driver filing correctly claims deductions a W-2 employee never sees.

We rent vehicles to gig drivers through Opportunity Tree Auto Group, so this is the return we see most.

  • Standard mileage vs. actual expense — run both ways, take the better one
  • Rental payments, tolls, parking, and car washes
  • Phone, data plan, and mounts, prorated to business use
  • Multiple 1099-NEC and 1099-K forms reconciled together
  • Self-employment tax and the quarterly estimates that prevent April surprises
  • Qualified business income deduction where you're eligible

Questions

Straight Answers

The things people actually ask before booking.
What does it cost?
It depends on the return — a single W-2 filer and a driver with three 1099s and a mileage log are different jobs. You get a quote before we begin, and it doesn't change unless your situation does.
How big will my refund be?
Nobody can tell you that before seeing your documents, and you should be skeptical of anyone who does. What we can promise is that we'll check every credit and deduction you qualify for and explain the result line by line.
I haven't filed in a few years. Can you help?
Yes, and it's more common than you'd think. We file the back years, deal with any notices, and set up a payment plan if you owe. The situation almost always gets better once the returns are actually filed.
I drive gig apps. Do I really need to file quarterly?
If you expect to owe roughly $1,000 or more for the year, estimated payments generally apply and skipping them can bring an underpayment penalty. We calculate what you should send and when, so April isn't a surprise.
Can I deduct my rental car if I drive for Uber?
Rental payments for a vehicle used in your driving business are generally deductible as an actual expense — but you can't combine that with the standard mileage rate. We run it both ways and use whichever produces the better result for you.
What if I get audited?
We stand behind the returns we prepare. If a notice or examination comes back on a return we filed, we help you respond and explain the positions we took.
