Two true things about computers
The first computer bug was an actual bug. In September 1947 a moth was found jammed in a relay of Harvard's Mark II. The operators taped it into the logbook and wrote “First actual case of bug being found.” That page, moth still attached, is in the Smithsonian.
Apollo 11 landed on 4 KB of memory. The guidance computer that put men on the Moon ran at about 0.043 MHz with 4 KB of RAM. The phone in your pocket is roughly a million times faster — and you still can't get it to print.
